Ben Reilly, believing himslef to be a clone of Peter Parker, the original Spider-Man, wandered the country aimlessly for the past five years. Upon returning to New York City he assumed the costumed identity of the Scarlet Spider. Recently learning that he may very well be Peter Parker, Ben created a new costume and reclaimed the role of the wall crawling, web-slinging Sensational Spider-Man!
