In the year 2058 the planet Earth has become overwhelmed with over population and pollution. In efforts to move the planets inhabitants to a safer location Professor John Robinson and his family are chosen as pioneers who will travel the galaxy and land on the plant Alpha Prime to set up a beacon which will allow future ships to travel there with ease. Unknown to them however, a stowaway has boarded their ship in effort to sabotage the crews efforts. The stowaway succeeds and the Robinsons ship is thrown of course and sent to an unknown part of space. Here new dangers are ever present as new creatures, the traitor among them and space anomalies threaten their very lives as they try to make their way to Alpha Prime.
