Faramir (Sword Weilding) Lord of the Rings - Two Towers (Toy Biz)The younger brother of Boromir and supposed heir to the throne of Gondor, Faramir was a skilled warrior. As most basic LOTR figures, Faramir stands at about 6 inches. He bears two weapons, a sword with sheath and a longbow with quiver and several arrows. He also has a special feature, a lever on his back, when pulled this lever causes him to swing his right arm up and down, allowing for sword swining action. Sadly, Faramir is one of those figures whose head looks very little like its movie counterpart. His head looks dumb, like hes lost. His hair is also the wrong color, its to dark while in the movie he had more blonde. The other bad thing is his sword. It comes in his right hand, prepacked. This is a bad thing because his right hand is like a rock, you CANNOT move the thing and the way the sword is made you cant just yank it out. Even worse, when attempting to pull the sword out, it broke easily so now I have Faramir with just a bow, which all and all is better quality then most of the other LOTR bows. Paint job is your replica movie job. He bears the exact Ranger clothes he was wearing in the Two Towers movie. Its basically olive green with the white tree emblem across the chest and an olive green cloak. His quiver and bow are bow brown. Arrows are brown with silver tips and green feathers. Th sword was your typical silver color. I can say that the articulation remained good here. he sports articulation at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs, knees and feet. A good figure but I have to take points off for the crappy sword+hand and the dopey looking head. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I still need to do a review on him and my Haradriam Warrior.
I only remember seeing Legolas and Aragorn in it the once or twice I saw it in stores...
Edit: He''s got five arrows
I wanted to get a Faramir so bad! How tall is he exactly? 5.9 inches? 6.1?
