Dancing Snoopy A Charlie Brown Christmas (Memory Lane) (Memory Lane)A classic scene from A Charlie Brown Christmas, this figure shows the lovable Snoopy dancing happily. This figure was originally released by Memory Lane in 2004, but was later re-released by Round 2 in 2006, with different packaging. I obtained this one at a flea market for $6. Packaging - *** (yes I will be using the four-star system MWCToys uses) Nice, big box for such a big figure. There's also a "try me" hole on the side of the box. Sculpt - **** This is a big Snoopy figure, and he's done in a great post. Arms out, feet moving, and joyous as can be. He's scultped out of hollow plastic/vinyl, and looks great. However, he's a bit wobbly due to the feet, but he still balances well. Paint - ***1/2 The paint job looks excellent, and his eyes and grin are painted on. Articulation - **1/2 Cut neck, shoulders, and ears. Not very posable, but at least the ear joints allow for some expression options. The feet and tail look like cut joints, but they're not. Accesories - ***1/2 Snoopy comes with a red guitar, complete with elastic strap, and a big piano. The piano's three legs come detached in the packaging, so you have to put them in. Snoopy can stand on the piano very well. In addition, th piano plays music! Just press the keys and it plays a classic Peanuts song (albeit it's quite loud). Enjoyability - *** Sure, he's not very posable, but the great sculpt and accessories allow for a lot of fun, especially when you're displaying him. And the electronic piano is pretty neat. Overall - *** No doubt a great figure. If they gave him more articulation and lowered the volume of the piano's song, he'd get a higher score. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
