Henchmen4HireT.Hawk is scary. Even when someone tells you the giant sour-faced monster is really a kind and friendly soul, he's still scary.
Hawk stands a hair under 8 inches, which is still heaps taller then the other SF figures. It's too tall, I know someone will argue this point, but I think 7.5 inches would look better. The other figs just look so puny next to him. The clothes are painted to look like denim (well done) and the shoes look like real wood. The detail is meticulous and fine. Belt buckle has an embossed hawk and the word "HAWK" on it, wrinkles on the fingers and clothes, flexible tassels on the jacket and boots, feathered eyebrows, finger-nails, golden arm-bands, the list goes on. I am shocked that there are no major paint-flaws on this figure, especially considering all the detail...[

Henchmen4HireNormally, I hate guys named Ken, but Street Fighter's Ken is an exception. I mean, how can you hate a fictional character right? It's okay to hate Mario though, he keeps wrecking Bowser's awesome castles, and I'm sure those things must have cost a fortune, what with all the secret passageways and statues that shoot lasers out of their eyes, freaking Mario. :|
D'ya Ken seas a beag over 6 inches. Sorry, I've been watching too much Highlander...Ken stands a little bit over 6 inches, about 6.1. If you haven't heard it already, SOTA's Street Fighter toys are fantabulous, unrivaled in detail and accuracy. Ken's suit (I know, it's called a "Gi". Look, I have the toy and you don't so just shaddap and listen, alright?) has smooth sleeves (as opposed to Ryu's ripped sleeves) and is cast in red...[

Henchmen4HireEver buy an entire action figure series because you loved the game it was based on? Must be one hell of a game, like the Street Fighter series. And considering how darn expensive these figures are now, you've got to have a LOT of love to throw around...
Ol' Gouken ("Old G" as young Ryu and Akuma liked to call him) stands in at 6.5 inches of bulging, burlap-wrapped muscle. I don't know how old he's supposed to be but he looks about 50. Amazing sculpting all-around on this fig; wrinkles, scars, muscleature, clothes, toes, crazy eyebrows, everything, WOW. There are a few different variations of this figure, with the constant being that they don't come with an extra head or hands! (both hands are in fists). I have the "Final Battle" variant; the head has a calm facial expression and the body...[

Henchmen4HireAs we all know, no fighting game is complete without a few ninjas thrown into the character line-up. It's like trying to eat cheesecake without eating the cheese. It's possible, but it's time consuming and troublesome, and then you get the hoards of angry teenagers screaming "where's the cheese in my cheesecake!? Where's the goddamn cheese!?" And we don't want that, now do we?
Ibuki stands at 6 inches of drab-tan ninjaness (and for a ninja, that's a good thing). The detail overall is great, of course, especially the way the baggy pants are sculpted, even the fingers and toes aren't over-looked (although the toes are a slightly different flesh-tone that the rest of the body, they're more ashy). The hair-bangs and tails are flexible, there are also small flicks of hair sticking-out from...[

Kyle RobinsonThis is my first Street Fighter (SOTA) figure and may I just say IT'S FREAKIN' BEAUTIFUL! I've always wanted a few of these figures but never wanted to fish out the $13.00 to $25.00 for one. They even reach up to about $50.00 for a Ryu online. I purchased Feilong at Sun Coast at my local shopping mall, on the 50% off rack for $6.50 so I snagged him up (I also got 3 ML Wonder Man figures for $3.50 a pop)
....anyway.....
I usually categorize figures 3 ways: "Custom Fodder", "FIX it and keep it", and "Straight up KEEPER!" (rare). Feilong is almost a "Straight up KEEPER!" but I had to fix a few things so he's a "FIX it and keep it". First Lets go over the PROS which their is a lot of. First and foremost, the best part of all the Street Fighter (SOTA) figures is that most of them come with 2...[

Henchmen4HireThe first line of 6-7 inch Street Fighter figures was pretty awesome. They looked just like they were supposed to and were beautifully made, but they lacked the articulation to put them into good action poses. Then a few years later SOTA Toys came along and made those awesome figs look like a joke! The new figures are fully articulated and even have interchangeable heads and hands! They usually come with a "casual" head, a "battle-ready" head, and lots of different hands for different attacks. This is how toys are supposed to be made! All other toy companies should bow their heads in shame :) Every SF fig even has it's alternate colored suits just like in the games. You can try and collect them all if you have a small fortune to spend...
Cammy stands 5.75 inches to the top of her head...[
