2022 I wanted to make a nice Spiral, and this was right before Hasbro dropped their own update. The torso and helmet is from the old Spiral that I wanted to improve. The face came from a 90s McFarlane Danger Girl toy, of Abby Chase. I always wanted her smile on Spiral. The hair is from the white suit Black Widow and the lower body is the modern Black Cat. It was a challenge to remove the fluffy boots from the old legs and transplant them to the new legs but I hated the legs of the old toy so much.
I gave her a modern open left hand for better spellcasting, I gave her a new modern neck for better posing, and after I modified the parts heavily you get them all to fit and articulated together, it was just a mew paintjob and ta-da. Much better Spiral.
Of course now I have the new updated Spiral put out by Hasbro in 2023, and it's amazing, I love it. But I still like my custom.
