David Banner was Bruce Banner's abusive father. David's frequent beatings and intimidation caused Bruce to develop a multiple personality disorder that would come to light when Bruce became the Hulk.
While his comic version doesn't have powers, in the Ang Lee films he becomes similar to Absorbing Man.
