Shiklah is a succubus from a royal bloodline, whose brothers were (apparently) killed defending their realm from vampire attacks. Her father, lamenting the loss of his sons, decided to hide Shiklah away in a casket for safety, until the war ended... or until she was to be wed.

Many years later, Dracula hired Deadpool (Wade Wilson) to retrieve Shiklah, with the intent of making her his bride. Deadpool succeeded in finding her, but the two fell in love during their romp across Europe, and later married. Their relationship was tumultuous, however, and Skiklah decided to couple with Dracula to reign over the Monster Metropolis, and conquer the surface world. The plans ultimately came undone, and she retreated with Dracula into retirement.

Sometime in the future, Shiklah carries Deadpool's child, Warda (who takes up the name "Deadpool" in 2099). She makes it her mission to find Shiklah, and discovers that her parents had engaged in a great battle, which ended with Shiklah's re-imprisonment in a coffin. Wade could not bring himself to destroy her, and used Pym particles to shrink her coffin, which now rests on top of his heart.
