Curt Henning is one the top wrestlers to come out of Minnesota in the 1980's, alongside such champions as Rick Rude and the Road Warriors. A second generation wrestler, Curt wrestled with his father, Larry "The Axe" Hennig, early in his career. From there, he moved on to a notable tag team championship run with Scott Hall in the AWA, where he also captured the world heavyweight title in singles competition.

He's most known, however, for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), where he became one of their most famous intercontinental champions of all time, under the name "Mr. Perfect". He later went on to join the WCW during the height of its popularity, becoming a member of the nWo. Curt passed away in 2003 at the age of 44, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.
