Booker T, alongside his brother Stevie Ray, formed the tag team Harlem Heat in WCW. They went on to win the WCW Tag Team Championships multiple times, showcasing their dominance in the tag team division. Booker T transitioned to singles competition and became a prominent contender for the WCW Television Championship and then later the United States Heavyweight Championship. He engaged in heated rivalries with wrestlers like Perry Saturn, Chris Benoit, Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett, vying for the top prize. In July of 2000, Booker T achieved a major milestone by capturing the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at the Bash at the Beach pay-per-view. This victory cemented his status as a top star in WCW. On the final episode of WCW Monday Night Nitro, Booker T won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship for the 4th time.
