Toxo-Vipers are thrust into battle situations that involve hazardous environments. Their battle suits are moderately airtight and resistant to most solvents. If the suit was completely impervious to atmospheric dangers, it would be awkward, slow moving, and most importantly, expensive. Although these troopers are combat efficient, they are encouraged to get their jobs done as quickly as possible and avoid firefights. Otherwise, they risk suit breaches and becoming a permanent member of the "Leaky Suit Brigade!"
