Don't get him wet, keep him out of bright light, and never feed him after midnight...

Billy Peltzer has just gotten the coolest pet ever: Gizmo the mogwai! Nothing could be better then having the cute Gizmo as pet, that is, until one of the three rules is broken. Accidentally splashed with water, Gizmo replicates into even more mogwai, and these guys aren't as nice. Things only take a turn for the worse when another rule is broken, the new mogwai eat after midnight, turning into evil little creatures known as gremlins! With their numbers growing more and more everyday and their actions becoming more deadly, its up to Billy to find a way to put an end to the gremlin menace!
