A most competent and respected medical professional, Dr. Beverly Crusher currently serves with distinction aboard the Starship Enterprise. She graduated from Starfleet Medical School in 2350 and served a medical internship on the planet Delos IV. In 2364, she accepted the commission of Chief Medical Officer on the Starship Enterprise. IN 2365, she was promoted to become head of Starfleet Medical, but after a year, she found that the earlier position on the Enterprise appealed to her more. Most recently she was involved in treating injured crew members after an attack by a Klingon Bird of Prey, that was taken over by a Dr. Soran. With her knowledge of both exobiology and xenotics, Dr. Crusher is vital to the Enterprise, especially since the ship's encounter with the Nexus Ribbon, an uncanny space phenomenon.
